Our return policy depends on the category of item that you order.
PIRATE FLAGS & PIRATE CLOTHES Pirates! Store categories: Returned/exchanged items must be in unworn undamaged state, and returned/exchanged no later than 14 days (postmark) from the shipment date. Returned (without an exchange) items are only suitable for 85% refund (15% handling/restocking fee) without exception. We do not return shipping or handling fees.
PIRATE GAMES & PIRATE TOYS Pirates! Store categories: we provide a 30-day money back guarantee and do not charge a restocking fee if the item is returned to us in undamaged, unused, and unopened condition. We will accept any item that is categorized under the pirate games or pirate toys category and is unused, undamaged, unopened and returned within 30-days of the order date. We do not return shipping or handling fees.
PIRATE COSTUMES & COSTUMES ACCESSORIES Pirates! Store category: Items may be returned/exchanged in a completely resellable (new) condition only. Returned/exchanged items must be in unworn undamaged state, in the original packaging, and returned/exchanged no later than 14 days (postmark) from the shipment date. Returned (without an exchange) items are only
suitable for 85% refund (15% handling/restocking fee) without exception. Costumes may
not be returned/exchanged at all if the costume has been worn and/or is damaged, portions of the costume
are missing, the original packaging is missing or broken, or more than 14 days have elapsed since the costume has been shipped. Also, correctly fulfilled orders, placed between October 16th and November 1st, are not eligible for a refund.
This policy has been
enacted due to abuse of costume sales. Please note that exchanges for different sized costumes of the exact same design and style are not a problem as long as the costume has not been damaged or used and we are notified about the exchange within 14 days of the purchase date.
The following personal accessories may only be returned if in unopened and in factory sealed packages: beards, eyebrows, eyelashes, hats, moustaches, stockings, teeth, tights, undergarments, wigs and similar. If in doubt please check with us before ordering.
Please note that for all returns and exchanges you will be responsible for any applicable shipping fees.
Holiday Season - Costumes Exchanges/Returns.
Children costumes bought between December 1st and December 22nd can be returned/exchanged within 20 days (instead of 14 days) from the purchase date.
Our return procedure is simple:
Let us know that you wish to return/exchange the item by contacting us using email (firstname.lastname@example.org). It would be helpful if you would please indicate the reason for the return.
We will provide you with the return address and RMA number. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return/exchange without RMA. Return/exchange packages without RMA will be returned to sender.
For your protection, we recommend that you use a shipping service with insurance and delivery confirmation for your return shipment.
If an invalid address is provided or the shipment is refused and consequently the order is returned to us, we will treat it as a return. If the shipping service provider (UPS/USPS) charges us a return fee, caused by a return resulting from no fault of ours, this charge will be your responsibility.
We are a reseller of high quality merchandise from reputable manufacturers/suppliers. Also, we use detailed quality control procedures before we ship. However, in the unlikely event that you will receive a faulty (due to the manufacturing defect) product, please return the defective product ASAP, within 3 days from the order delivery date, and in the original packaging, back to us. Upon confirmation of the defect, and if the product otherwise conforms to the conditions for a return/exchange as specified in our return/exchange policy, we will send you exactly the same product as a replacement. In case we do not have exactly the same product for the replacement we will refund 100% of what you paid for the defective item.

Shipping and Handling
Orders are usually processed and shipped within 24 hours (Mon-Sat).
Your shopping cart will display the shipping and handling charge for your order.
Please note that Pirates! Store is not responsible for lost or damaged items resulting - in transit - from USPS/UPS shipping service.
In the unlikely event that an order is damaged, delayed
or lost in transit, we will do our best to assist the customer in the effort
to help recover, from the shipping service provider, the items and/or costs.
However, Pirates! Store LLC is not responsible or in any way liable for damaged, lost or delayed shipments due to the shipping service.
Please note that UPS imposes additional fee for any delivery address correction, which will be your responsibility if you provide an incorrect shipping address.
Currently, the UPS address correction charge for UPS Ground service shipments is: $10.00 per package and for UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS 3 Day Select shipments the charge is: $11.00 per package.
Also, depending on the delivery location, UPS may add a fuel surcharge to the shipping cost. For most delivery locations, UPS does not add this surcharge. However, if it happens, this UPS fuel surcharge will be added to your original shipping cost.
Shipping and handling charges apply to all Pirates! Store shipments. This includes items sent by request via more than one parcel or shipment.
Shipping times listed are based on United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service of America, Inc. (UPS) service estimates (business days). Delivery times may vary.

United States Orders
For US orders we use USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Express Mail (insured), USPS Standard Post, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select or UPS Ground, depending on the type of service you select. Please note: US Postal Service does not provide automatic insurance for packages which use: USPS Priority Mail or USPS Standard Post. Although problems with those two USPS mail services are rare, we do recommend, for your protection, that you select the insurance option for USPS Priority or USPS Standard service during the checkout (additional fee applies).
USPS First Class mail service usually delivers in 3-6 days, USPS Priority mail service usually delivers in 2-4 days, USPS Express Mail service usually delivers overnight (if order is placed before 11:00am PST).
United Parcel Service of America, Inc. (UPS) 2nd Day Air service (this is not an overnight service) delivers by the end of the second business day (if order is placed before 12:00pm PST).
United Parcel Service of America, Inc. (UPS) 3 Day Select service delivers by the end of the third business day (if order is placed before 12:00pm PST).
United Parcel Service of America, Inc. (UPS) Ground shipping service usually delivers in 2-10 days.
If you need your order by a certain date we recommend USPS Express Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS 3 Day Select shipping service.
Customer is responsible for all applicable taxes.
Please note that we reserve the right to upgrade your shipping service to a better one at no additional cost to you.
For international orders we use: USPS Express Mail International shipping service.
Shipping rates vary depending on the country you select. Your shopping cart displays the shipping charge for international orders after you select your country from the drop down list.
